God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

“Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” -Psalm 73:25-26- “I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.’” - Lamentations 3:24 -

….about sports….

Ah…flag football….we're getting owned…I keep getting burned on the outsides….ah…outside linebacker…that is me….(Wednesday's game - 18(?)-0, today's game - 21-0…but we are improving…somewhat….)

Sports: a very strong tendency to bring out the worst in people.

However, as much as I love my flag football quite dearly…I must say that despite the running, the fun and the physical activity (which is good for your health)…that I honestly don't know if it was worth joining again this year…drama, profanity, gossip, trash-talking (haha...sorry), negativity, aggression, stress, sleep deprivation, verbal abuse (bahaha…I'm not 100% serious about this one…but my coach does threaten to rip my hair out of my head and yell at me incessantly [all out of love though]) and all….

There's a difference between wanting to 'stay in shape' or 'keep fit' or whatever you want to call it….and competition.

Compete: to strive against another or others to attain a goal, such as an advantage or a victory.

I don't know.

This week in a nutshell:
One of the craziest, most jam-packed (tests and 2 football home games, 2 hockey games at lunch) and lack of sleep (because of practice and TA) weeks of the year.

Nonetheless...I've learned. It's been one of the most amazing weeks though, in terms of relying on God…getting mad owned by God really helps you to learn from your mistakes. Getting owned=good….but you really shouldn't need to get owned in the first place….but then it gets all moot and I don't want to argue.

The year is almost over:
-one more bio 10%
-3 more essays!!!!
-English 10% King Lear essay…oops….make that 4 more essays…
-English ISU presentation
-Mod West/Chemistry/Politics exam

I think that is it. Then it's over.

Grad pictures are obscenely expensive. Obscenely. Mad not worth.
